What is it?
The Patron Circle is a small group of four collectors.
Each month, I make a brand new original oil painting for you, in the figurative and still life work I'm known for.
You offer the title. I paint it.
At the start of each month, you're invited to send me a title, a word, or a small preference. I take it into the studio and let it shape the painting. My interpretations are rarely literal. They tend to be atmospheric, guided by mood more than description, so each work arrives as my response to your words rather than an illustration of them. If you'd rather leave it entirely to me, that's welcome too.

Original oil on canvas, between 9×12 and 11×14 inches. My artworks of similar size are shown above.

Patron privileges
As a patron, you receive a $100 discount on all original artworks, for as long as your patronage is active.
Your patronage gives me more time in the studio. In return, you build a collection that grows alongside the work itself.

How it works
1. Join. Your first payment begins your first painting.
2. Share a title. Add your first title in the "Note to artist" section at checkout, if you want to shape the direction of the painting. Each month after, I'll write to you for the next one.
3. I paint. The work is made over the course of the month.
4. It arrives. Your painting ships within four weeks of each payment, ready to hang.
Details
Is there a commitment?
No. You may pause or cancel anytime. Cancellations take effect before the next month's payment, so any painting already in progress will still be completed and shipped to you.
Is shipping included?
Shipping is included within the US. International shipping is calculated at checkout.
When am I charged?
Your first payment is made when you join, and each month on that same date after. Work on your painting begins with each payment, and it ships within four weeks.
Can I request a specific subject?
You're welcome to share a title or a small preference each month. I approach these loosely and atmospherically, so the painting will be my interpretation rather than a commission to specification.
Do patrons receive other benefits?
Yes. Patrons receive $100 off all my original works on the site, with no use limit, for as long as their patronage continues.
Can I return a painting?
I begin working on your painting as soon as your payment is processed. All original artwork is final sale.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
Every painting is carefully packed and ships insured, so that rarely ever happens. However, if anything arrives damaged, contact me within 7 days of delivery and I'll make it right.
